I’m an Edmonton based Registered Provisional Psychologist with an integrative approach that emphasizes holistic mental health and transformative change backed by clinical research and ancestral practices.
Relational, Experiential, and Embodied Therapy for Empowered Healing
I offer a relational and holistic approach to support adults and teens through their personal growth and self-discovery journey. With a strong emphasis on empathy and attunement, I prioritize our human-to-human connection, creating a compassionate, collaborative, and authentic therapeutic environment.
My goal is to facilitate meaningful connection and create the right conditions for you to access your innate wisdom, fostering not only healing but also a deep sense of thriving and personal transformation through relational, experiential, and somatic therapies.

The therapeutic modalities I draw upon:
-
AEDP
I primarily use Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), a relational and experiential therapy designed to support emotional healing and growth. AEDP is based on the belief that while we all have the innate capacity to endure and process challenges, some experiences may feel too overwhelming to face alone. That’s where I come in—providing compassionate, supportive therapy to guide you through both the highs and lows of your therapeutic journey.
Originally developed to address childhood trauma and relational trauma, AEDP has proven effective in treating a wide range of emotional concerns. The approach draws on attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and memory reconsolidation, integrating somatic therapy, parts work, and an emphasis on the present moment to create a comprehensive and healing experience.
-
Somatic Therapy
Somatic Therapy is a gentle yet powerful approach that taps into the body’s nervous system and sensations to help you release stuck emotions and create new, healthier patterns of embodied being. Drawing on ancient healing traditions that incorporated movement, sound, and rhythm in ritual and ceremony, somatic therapy is grounded in practices that honor the profound mind-body connection. Contemporary neuroscience continues to support this connection, showing how somatic therapy not only promotes overall well-being but also aids in healing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
In my practice, I take an integrative approach to somatic therapy, blending elements of Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Polyvagal Theory. This allows me to offer a holistic, personalized healing experience that aligns with your unique needs, helping you tap into your body’s natural capacity for growth and transformation.

Parts Work
Parts work is a therapeutic approach that explores the various parts of our personality, behavior, and emotional responses to gain deeper, more compassionate insights into the self. By approaching these parts with curiosity and compassion, we can develop expanded self-awareness and create healthier, more adaptive patterns.
Rooted in the psychological theories of Freud and Jung, parts work also has connections to Indigenous perspectives. From a neurological standpoint, parts are seen as neural patterns encoded in the brain for specific purposes.
In my practice, I primarily use AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to provide an accessible, modern approach to parts work, integrating Jungian archetypes and symbolism when relevant to deepen understanding and healing.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an approach that combines mindfulness, cognitive, and linguistic techniques to enhance psychological flexibility, resilience, and overall well-being. ACT is designed to help individuals navigate life's inevitable challenges by reducing unnecessary suffering and promoting a life filled with meaning, purpose, and connection to their core values. It empowers individuals to approach their difficulties with openness and compassion, rather than avoidance or struggle.
While ACT is a modern adaptation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), it also draws on ancient wisdom from contemplative traditions, particularly in its emphasis on mindfulness and acceptance. The emphasis on acceptance allows individuals to create space for new ways of thinking and behaving, ultimately leading to greater psychological balance and emotional well-being.

Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy invites us to reimagine the stories that guide our lives, offering a powerful way to shape our experiences and identities. Rooted in the rich traditions of myth, literary allegories, imagination, and ancestral storytelling, my approach to narrative therapy honours the complexity and depth of our diverse personal journeys.
By gently unraveling limiting narratives, we begin to uncover new possibilities for growth and healing. This process allows us to reclaim our sense of agency and intentionality, enabling us to actively shape more empowering and authentic storylines in our lives.
Narrative therapy encourages curiosity, creativity, and connection, reminding us that our lives are dynamic and ever-evolving. It's an invitation to reflect on the stories we live by and to rewrite our chapters in ways that more fully align with who we are and who we are becoming.

Depth Psychology
Depth psychology explores and integrates the unconscious, emphasizing long-term, internal transformation. It is grounded in holistic, existential, culturally responsive, and transpersonal perspectives, making it especially relevant for those exploring meaning, spirituality, and self-actualization. Methods may include dream analysis, Jungian active imagination, expressive arts, and archetypal exploration.
Optional reflective practices we may discuss upon request include archetypal astrology and archetypal tarot. These are not used as predictive tools or psychological interventions but as structured, intuitive, and ancestral frameworks that may enhance personal reflection.
Regardless of the method that feels most aligned, depth psychology invites metaphor, imagination, and ancestral wisdom, honouring the many ways self-discovery has been understood across time.
